Jersey Heritage Holidays

Jersey Heritage Holidays offers guided tours for those who want to get under the skin of Jersey and to understand more fully what makes this island such a special place.
The concept is to allow interested visitors to discover something of the real Jersey. These tours will not simply take in visits to well-known attractions … there will always be a surprise round the corner, something special not available to other tourists.
Jersey, the most southerly of the British Channel Islands,
is well-known for its superb beaches and scenery, its
beautiful breed of cattle and the Jersey Royal potato, but very few people realise what a depth of history and culture there is to explore in its 45 square miles.
Our 2008 special interest holidays, which we are offering in conjunction with the Greenhills Country Hotel and Restaurant, can be found under 'Itineraries' but we are able to create programmes of any length and on any subject that you may wish. For example, itineraries for Conference delegages and partners is a speciality. One thing is constant - and that is the quality of what we offer.
What others say about Jersey Heritage Holidays
From Helen Masterson, who took the World War II break in September 2007:
The whole trip suited me down to the ground. I enjoy finding out about things, but also having the opportunity to explore a bit on my own, and the visit gave me the chance to do both.
From John Cabot from Massachusetts, USA, who in 2007 organised a family reunion in Jersey involving 55 visitors from America, Europe and elsewhere. He was persuaded that he needed a local event planner:
Our choice for this role was Beth Lloyd of Jersey Heritage Holidays, who had been recommended highly. Her advice was sound, her arrangements for meals, transportation and visitor packets worked flawlessly, and her coordination with the other organizations involved was diplomatic and effective. We benefitted greatly from her willingness and capacity to help in the project, and also from her knowledge of Jersey’s sites and facilities and of the Jersey community. We were well pleased, and the reunion was a great success.
Senator Frank Walker, Chief Minister, States of Jersey:
I am so glad that a new opportunity is being created specifically to show visitors the history and heritage that makes Jersey such a special place. I hope that Jersey Heritage Holidays will enable many more people to appreciate more fully what has created Jersey and the Jersey people of today.

David de Carteret, Director of Tourism and Marketing:
Jersey 's heritage consistently ranks at the top of any surveys which are carried out among Jersey's visitors who are fascinated by all of the aspects which make Jersey so special and different from other places. Having the provision of a more personal service for those clients seeking an in depth knowledge will add significantly to our product range and should prove very popular with our more discerning clients.
Jon Carter, Director Jersey Heritage Trust:
Jersey's fantastically rich heritage is highly regarded nationally as the interest in the Forts and Towers project has shown. This initiative is a great way to build on that, and we will give it every support.
